Atlas Milling Machine Label Set

This is the label/tag set that fits the Atlas/Craftsman milling machines. The labels are printed in the proper size as the original with extra material around the outside and will need to be trimmed and drilled to match your machine as is shown in the photos. I have changed the colors slightly because I think they look a little nicer and slightly more modern. These are the blank aluminum plates and no machining has been done beyond deburring the oversized material. I have included pictures of the labels that will go on one of my machines as a reference only, and the individual on/off label shown is the way you will receive all of the labels. I have specific requirements for selling these label sets for 2 reasons, one is to try and help maintain the history of the machines by trying to maintain when a machine was actually produced by having the proper serial number and also to help prevent unscrupulous resellers from profiting from reselling parts for large markups. To purchase this set of tags I will need a photo of your original model/serial number tag for my records. If it is missing or cannot be provided I will still sell a set of tags but the serial number will be replaced with the buyers name and current year as shown in the photo of my machine label to show that the actual history of the machine cannot be traced and may be a parts machine. THE LABELS ARE PRODUCED ON AN AS ORDERED BASIS AND ARE NON REFUNDABLE so please be sure the labels are what you want and the speed chart is proper for your machine. You will also see an original speed chart for comparison and what appears to be scratches on some of the tags, this is lighting and not a blemish on the tag. I will include the proper number of drive rivets to affix the tags as were original, the switch plate will need screws to affix it

This is the on/off label that fits the Atlas/Craftsman milling machines. The label is printed in the proper size as the original with extra material around the outside and will need to be trimmed and drilled to match your machine as is shown in the photos. They are the blank plate and no machining has been done beyond deburring the oversized material. I have included a picture of a label that will go on one of my machines as a reference only (my alignment was poor when I drilled the bottom hole)

Atlas Milling Machine Index Center Driver M1-204

This is the driver M1-204 for the Atlas Milling Machine Index Center This is the “H” shaper driver that threads onto the indexing head spindle and the drive dog engages in this part. It is threaded 1-10 which is the threads on the index head spindle, it includes the set screws and the “pellet” that protects the spindle threads where the setscrew bears on the spindle. This is a newly manufactured part which we cast in aluminum as these parts are no longer available from the manufacturer.

Atlas Milling Machine M1-567 arbor driver

This is the arbor driver that fits the Atlas/Craftsman milling machine . It is the driver that threads onto the milling machine spindle to drive the arbor. This is a newly manufactured reproduction which is then run thru my bluing tanks to help prevent corrosion and also to give a finished appearance. Made In The USA.

These are reproduction parts which I produce as I am trying to offer a lower cost alternative to the exorbinate prices they are being sold for on the auction sites.

Atlas Milling Machine Drawbar M1-576

This is the M1-576 draw bar for the Atlas milling machines, this draw bar is required for the M1-577 shank-cutter adapter as well as the M1-560 and 560L arbors.

Due to the lack of avalibility of the materials outlined in the purple text below I am at least for now producing these arbors from stainless steel, I feel that this substitution is just as durable and will give at least an equal service life as my previous offerings and while the material cost is higher than I was paying for the steel the difference is offset since it is not blued . This also includes the coned centering sleeve.

The main body of this drawbar is manufactured in 2 pieces which allows me to provide it at a lower cost than if it is turned from a single piece of stock (which the original was) also provided is the coned centering sleeve which helps center the drawbar at the rear of the spindle. this drawbar is turned from pre hardened steel and is then finished in my hot bluing tanks so that it will have a long lasting protective finish which I feel is much more pleasing than a raw steel look.

I have shown on my u-tube video the manufacture of one of these arbors as per the print (which is redily available) and have provided the information necessary for you to build your own if you choose. and the photos here are of that arbor. That video can be found here

This is the lock handle that fits the Atlas/Craftsman milling machine . It is the lock handle which retains the arbor support bar. 2 are required on the machine. This is a newly manufactured reproduction which is cnc machined from stainless steel to prevent corrosion. Made In The USA.

Atlas Milling Machine Motor Belt Guard M1-402B

This is the lower motor belt guard M1-402B that fits on the back side of the machine. This is the later model guard which is hinged. This is a newly manufactured part which we cast in aluminum as these parts are no longer available from the manufacturer. This casting may take up to 7 business days to ship once ordered, at this time if they show in stock I have a casting done but it may not yet be machined and painted. Once I have caught up on all my castings they will hopefully be available for immediate shipment.
