Shipping is included within the US. (We currently only ship within the United States) This is sold as a stand alone item and while it is shipped from us as all the rest of our products it will be shipped separately to insure it’s safe packing.

The mugs as supplied to us are supposed to be dishwasher safe but I personally am hand washing mine to insure that I can get the longest life and best image quality for years to come.

This is a newly manufactured part which we cast in aluminum as these parts are no longer available from the manufacturer. We have upgraded the stud which is cast into the side of the tray to mount the belt guard, this was originally a mild steel insert and we have changed to stainless steel. Part #S7-107

If the casting shows in stock it may take up to 7 business days to ship once ordered, if inventory shows backordered then they are planned to be cast within the next few days and may take 2 to 3 weeks to ship. At this time if they show in stock I have a casting done but it may not yet be machined and painted. Once I have caught up on all my castings they will hopefully be available for immediate shipment.

Each plate has 2 hole circles, the first is 30/36 holes and the second is 28/48 holes. This is the same hole count as was originally supplied by Atlas with the centers and they have often been misplaced or lost as the accessory has changed owners.

After comparing plates on 2 different units it has come to our attention that there can be a substantial amount of difference in the tolerances of the units originally supplied by Atlas, While on one of the index centers the plates are what I consider to be the proper fit, when installed on the other unit they are an exceptionally tight fit both with the keyway and the alignment with the index holes. I have built the plates with larger tolerences to hopefully best accomidate the needs of all users as I feel it will be far more aggravating to have plates which will not install or align. if your plates are to loose it may be necessary to replace or adjust the keyway pin, and if index holes are to tight it may be necessary to open them slightly or further chamfer the entrance edge, or if to loose it is a simple matter to be sure and load the tension in the same direction to get accurate indexing. Please take this into consideration before ordering so that you are happy with your purchase.

This is a set of 2 pieces and are used in most applications that have a split cotter such as the tailstock ram on the 6, 10, and 12 inch lathes, and the rams on the mill index centers. They are also used on the Atlas mill to lock the overarm support bar, but utilize an additional spacer so I have offered them in a different listing.

They may require minor fitting as I have found a wide variation of dimensions in the machines.

These are reproduction parts which I produce and are the same parts I show how to produce in my video series about how to make our Atlas machines affordable again by either producing your own parts for your machines, or I am trying to offer a lower cost alternative to the exorbinate prices they are being sold for on the auction sites.

A few examples are the table of the mill and shaper, the rotary table as well as the cross feed table of the lathe. They are threaded 5/16-18 which I have found to be a good size for the Atlas machines. I also machine a cross slot in the upper portion of the nuts which helps prevent them from binding in the t-slots after repeated use. They have been blued in my professional bluing tanks to help give them a protective as well as attractive appearance.
