Atlas Milling Machine Index Center Driver M1-204

This is the driver M1-204 for the Atlas Milling Machine Index Center This is the “H” shaper driver that threads onto the indexing head spindle and the drive dog engages in this part. It is threaded 1-10 which is the threads on the index head spindle, it includes the set screws and the “pellet” that protects the spindle threads where the setscrew bears on the spindle. This is a newly manufactured part which we cast in aluminum as these parts are no longer available from the manufacturer.

Atlas MFB Milling Machine Mug

This is a 11 oz. mug with the MFB mill on both sides of the mug, the perfect addition for your favorite beverage to take with you to the shop or as inspiration to get out and do something in the shop. Shipping is included within the US. (We currently only ship within the United States). This is sold as a stand alone item and while it is shipped from us as all the rest of our products it will be shipped separately to insure it’s safe packing.

The mugs as supplied to us are supposed to be dishwasher safe but I personally am hand washing mine to insure that I can get the longest life and best image quality for years to come.

This is the arbor driver that fits the Atlas/Craftsman milling machine . It is the driver that threads onto the milling machine spindle to drive the arbor. This is a newly manufactured reproduction which is then run thru my bluing tanks to help prevent corrosion and also to give a finished appearance. Made In The USA.

These are reproduction parts which I produce as I am trying to offer a lower cost alternative to the exorbinate prices they are being sold for on the auction sites.

Atlas M1-61 Arbor Support Bar

This is the Arbor support bar for the Atlas Milling Machine, It is a reproduction what we produce which is cast in aluminum, the original was cast iron but I feel that for our application on our fairly light duty machines this material is more than sufficient. I have slightly increases the thickness of the bar to add a slightly more amount of strength and rigidity to this part. Please note that to use this part on your machine you must have the M1-60 Arbor support. This is the support which is drilled and tapped to accept the 2- 3/8″ cap screws which attach the M1-61 bar to the support arm. Your machine must also be equiped with the M1-61 handwheel bearing which has the straight 1″ diameter sticking out from the knee. If you have a machine where this bearing is tapered then the bar will not fit and the bearing must be changed. This casting may take up to 7 business days to ship once ordered, at this time if they show in stock I have a casting done but it may not yet be machined and painted. Once I have caught up on all my castings they will hopefully be available for immediate shipment.

Atlas Milling Machine Drawbar M1-576

This is the M1-576 draw bar for the Atlas milling machines, this draw bar is required for the M1-577 shank-cutter adapter as well as the M1-560 and 560L arbors.

Due to the lack of avalibility of the materials outlined in the purple text below I am at least for now producing these arbors from stainless steel, I feel that this substitution is just as durable and will give at least an equal service life as my previous offerings and while the material cost is higher than I was paying for the steel the difference is offset since it is not blued . This also includes the coned centering sleeve.

The main body of this drawbar is manufactured in 2 pieces which allows me to provide it at a lower cost than if it is turned from a single piece of stock (which the original was) also provided is the coned centering sleeve which helps center the drawbar at the rear of the spindle. this drawbar is turned from pre hardened steel and is then finished in my hot bluing tanks so that it will have a long lasting protective finish which I feel is much more pleasing than a raw steel look.

I have shown on my u-tube video the manufacture of one of these arbors as per the print (which is redily available) and have provided the information necessary for you to build your own if you choose. and the photos here are of that arbor. That video can be found here

Atlas Split Cotters M6-44 & M6-45

These is the pair of split cotters that lock various round shafts in place on the Atlas machines. This is a set of 2 pieces and are used in most applications that have a split cotter such as the tailstock ram on the 6, 10, and 12 inch lathes, and the rams on the mill index centers. They are also used on the Atlas mill to lock the overarm support bar, but utilize an additional spacer so I have offered them in a different listing.

They may require minor fitting as I have found a wide variation of dimensions in the machines.

These are reproduction parts which I produce and are the same parts I show how to produce in my video series about how to make our Atlas machines affordable again by either producing your own parts for your machines, or I am trying to offer a lower cost alternative to the exorbinate prices they are being sold for on the auction sites.

Atlas Split Cotters M6-44 & M6-45 + for The Mill

These is the pair of split cotters that lock various round shafts in place on the Atlas machines plus the spacer used on the Atlas Mill Overarm support. This is a set of 3 pieces and are used on the Atlas mill to lock the overarm support bar, this is the same cotters used on the other machines with the addition of an extra spacer.

They may require minor fitting as I have found a wide variation of dimensions in the machines.

Atlas T-Nuts

These is the pair of T-Nuts that fit the t-slots in the various Atlas machines. A few examples are the table of the mill and shaper, the rotary table as well as the cross feed table of the lathe. They are threaded 5/16-18 which I have found to be a good size for the Atlas machines. I also machine a cross slot in the upper portion of the nuts which helps prevent them from binding in the t-slots after repeated use. They have been blued in my professional bluing tanks to help give them a protective as well as attractive appearance.
